About Us
Founded by 5x NBA All-Star John Wall, the John Wall Family Foundation (JWFF) reflects his belief in paying it forward to the community that raised him. Rooted in family, community, and service, JWFF is dedicated to improving the quality of life for families in need and impacting the lives of young people through mentorship, education, and physical activity. 
JWFF creates meaningful opportunities and experiences that uplift, inspire, and empower.  More than a foundation, JWFF represents the importance of never forgetting where you come from and using your platform to pour back into the people and places that shaped you. Through direct outreach, youth engagement, wellness initiatives, and community events, JWFF supports families in a real way, building experiences that make young people feel seen, valued, and inspired long after the moment has passed.
At its core, JWFF exists to bring people together, open doors for those often overlooked, and keep investing in communities with the same love, pride, and consistency that built them.

Our Community
Community is about people feeling supported and connected. Behind every moment is a person. Behind every event is a family. Community, to JWFF, means showing up consistently for the people and places that shaped us and celebrating the experiences, big and small, that bring us together. From Raleigh to the DMV, JWFF takes pride in creating spaces where families and youth can come together, build memories, and experience a genuine sense of belonging.

In loving memory of Frances A. Pulley

Rooted in family, community, compassion, and service, Frances Pulley dedicated her life to uplifting others throughout Raleigh, Wake County, and the DMV community. Through her selfless spirit and unwavering commitment to giving back, she became the heart behind so much of the outreach and impact carried out by JWFF.

Ms. Frances’s presence has continued to guide the mission of JWFF in an even meaningful way. What started as community outreach has grown into something more personal, a commitment to serving people the same way Ms. Frances did: with compassion, dignity, and genuine love for the community.

As John has often shared, his mother’s strength, sacrifices, and work ethic shaped not only his basketball journey, but his commitment to serving the community that raised him. Her spirit lives on through every Summer Impact Weekend, holiday drive, The John Wall Holiday Invitational Tournament, scholarship opportunity, community event, and acts of kindness.

JWFF has renewed purpose: to continue the work Ms. Frances started and to honor the example she set for everyone around her.
